This is a replacement for one I bought in 2017 that finally bit the dust. It bit the dust because it had been knocked off my desk, tossed down the stairs or fallen out of the car onto the concrete scores of times. These cases are very thick, durable plastic and will hold up well to daily usage. It survived that type of abuse for 7 years before the hinge finally cracked and it isn’t smell proof anymore. On a side note, NEVER ONCE did the case pop open, revealing the contents, no matter how hard it was dropped!! THIS Cloud Ten brand WORKS!! My wife has a VERY sensitive nose and could not smell anything through this case with it right up to her nose and a well used and very smelly pipe and a VERY fragrant HERBAL substance inside. There is plenty of room inside for a smoking utensil of any style (vaporizer or pipe), a stash box or baggie and a lighter. I don’t use glass pipes, since I have nerve damage in my neck and reduced feeling in my fingers, so I drop things easily. BUT, so long as it was cushioned, so it didn’t slide around inside the case, I think the case would keep a glass pipe from being broken, even in a hard fall. Hope all that helps.
